日本のテレビに思うこと

We have switched from Cable TV recently to discover the Japanese program again. I was surprised that these programs have not changed since forever. The difference between the reality of the daily life and the programs on TV give me the impression that these programs are made for different place and time.

The TV is a tool of communication which is supposed to reflect the reality of daily life of people watching it. The program for food is taking the big part followed by the quiz and laughing programs. Recently everybody is talking about CO2 and environment; I know how important is it, but the daily life of most of the Japanese family still more influenced by the rising price of the food, gas... than their car CO2 emission which by the way they are not driving!
With summer is here, I hope the families will find the energy to go out of the city during this hot holiday in all sense of term!

テレビをつけると、有名人などが、自分の豊かな生活や、お買い物を紹介する番組をよく見かけます。
ご丁寧にも、ひとつひとつ、値段まで話したり‥
一方、大食いの女性がテレビに出て、自分の大食漢ぶりを披露したり‥

何がおかしいのか、テレビの中では、出演者がみんな楽しそうに笑っています。

どうも違和感を感じてしまいます。

最期におにぎりを食べたいと言って、亡くなった方がいるような社会なのに。

現実を忘れさせるかのように、毎日騒がしい番組は続きます。
