It's hot!
I am used to hot weather especially in Tokyo with the rainy season. This year it's special. The media talking about the golbal warming, the G8 in Hookkaido, the flood around the world make me feel that it is more warm than any year during my stay in Japan! 
The good news is that the people awarness is higher and we can see it in our daily life: The use of disposable goods: waribashi (japanese chopsticks), plastic plates...
In the department stores,shoppers now are leaving bihind the packege that comes with the products they buy. This behavior,one may say,exsists for long times;I agree but more people are talking about it and the consiousness is at a level higher than it was few years ago. The question is do we need a world wide problem to become aware of the destruction of our environment?
We still have few months before the winter season, and cooler weather hopefully.
