「最近忘れ物をして困ったものは？」
特にないですね〜
でも、出掛ける時にもう一度、火の元とか電気とか忘れ物とかのチェックは、2、3回はしていると思います....。
今日は認知症予防の日という事で、去年は「忘れる(forget)」のワードから、1972年に「Forget Your Dream! (フォゲット・ユア・ドリーム)」というアルバムをリリースしていたスイス、ヌーシャテル出身の4人組グループ「Pacific Sound(パシフィック・サウンド)」を取り上げていました。
今回も「忘れる(forget)」のワードから、ちょっと意表を突いて「Jon Lord(ジョン・ロード)」のソロアルバム「Before I Forget」を選んでみました。
「Before I Forget」は、1982年にリリースされたアルバムで、ソロ名義のアルバムとしては通算4枚目になるかと思います。
3枚目のアルバム「Sarabande」(1976年)から少し間があって、ちょうどその頃は「Paice Ashton Lord(ペイス・アシュトン・ロード)」から「 Whitesnake(ホワイトスネイク)」に在籍していた頃で、1984年に「Deep Purple(ディープ・バープル)」が再結成される2年程前という事になります。
「Jon Lord(ジョン・ロード)」のソロ名義のアルバムというと、個人的には1971年の「Gemini Suite」と1974年の「Windows」の印象が強く、特に「Windows」を聴いた時のインパクトは凄かったです。
その勢いで、1976年の「Sarabande」も聴いていました。
その前3作に比べると、オーケストレーションされていない「Before I Forget」は非常にシンプルな印象です。
という事で、今回はこの「Before I Forget」から2曲選んでみました。
先ずは、Side 2の1曲目でタイトル曲の「Before I Forget」、次が前後しますがSide 1の4曲目でシングル盤もリリースされていた「Bach Onto This」です。
明日は「Windows」を取り上げてみたいと思います。

キキョウソウです。
普通に道端に咲いている花なので特に目新しさはありませんが、やっぱり花の色は特徴的ですね。
でも一番の特徴は、春からまず閉鎖花（へいさか）をつける事で、その後開放花（かいほうか）を咲かせます。
花言葉は「やさしい愛」、「ひとあたりがいい」です。

明日は潮は良くないですが、一応釣りに出掛ける予定です。
まだ場所は決めていませんが、夜は雨の予報も出ているので、近場にするつもりです。
