ネット上の情報は、ニュースを含めて3割方疑っています。
誤字脱字も結構あって、それだけで信用をなくしている気がします。
今日はタウン情報の日という事で、「タウン」のワードから「Humble Pie」の2ndアルバム「Town And Country」を選んでみました。
Humble Pieは Steve Marriott(スティーブ・マリオット)/ギターが、Peter Frampton(ピーター・フランプトン)/ギター、Greg Ridley(グレッグ・リドリー)/ベース、Jerry Shirley(ジェリー・シャーリー)/ドラムスと共に結成したグループで、このアルバムは大ヒットした1stアルバム「As Safe As Yesterday Is」(1969年)に続きImmediateレーベルから同年リリースされた2ndアルバムで、全面的にアコースティック色の濃いアルバムとなっています。
今回はその中から1曲目の「Take Me Back」とラスト曲の「Home And Away」を選んでみました。
どちらもボーカルはPeter Framptonで、「Take Me Back」は自身の曲です。
彼は1971年の「Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore」の録音後に脱退し、ソロ活動に入ります。
