ポップコーンのタネ？豆？のことをなんと呼ぶのが正解？

こんにちは。トウモロコシのタネです。


ポップコーンになる元のひと粒ひと粒のことをそもそもなんていうのか？
みなさん週末になると気になりますよね。


というわけで、わたくしワクワクして調べてみました。


楽天やオンラインショップで調べると、
「ポップコーンのタネ」「ポップコーン専用豆」という名で売られています。

これで、お店に行っても大きな声で店員さんに売り場を聞けますね。


ちなみに消費量がすんごく多いと思われるアメリカ（←ん、ほんとに消費量ナンバー１？要調査）
のサイトをいろいろと調べてみたら、、、今日も大発見！

なんと、ポップコーンのタネにはいろんな色があるらしく、各々特徴が違うとのこと。（←要追加調査）
紹介されていたのは、全部で6種類。


Yellow
Yellow popcorn is the most popular brand throughout the United States. It is the largest when popped, and is the cheapest available.

Red
Red popcorn has a small kernel that expands to a rather large piece of popcorn, and tends to have a nutty flavor.

White

そして呼び名は
「Popcorn Seeds（ポップコーンシーズ）」
なんていい響きの言葉なのでしょう。（ま、直訳したら、「タネ」なんですが…）

これからは、「ポップコーンのタネ」でなく、
「ポップコーンシーズ」で呼び名は決まりですね。

今日はポップコーンのタネは、「Popcorn Seeds（ポップコーンシーズ）」のいう呼び方がカッコイイということがわかりました。
