Ｑ）安倍総理の靖国参拝に米政府が「失望した」(disapointed)らしいけど、
それって大変なことなの？
Ａ）それほど大変なことではありません。10分ほど調べた範囲ですが
アメリカ政府はこの半年で少なくとも４回ほど「失望」しています：
・2013/12/02 企業買収に関して豪州政府に
・2013/11/22 ＥＵとの協定締結を延長したウクライナ政府に
・2013/08/01 スノーデン問題でロシア政府に
・2013/06/23 スノーデン問題で香港政府
まあ「ちょっとがっかり」くらいなものだと思います。
これより深刻になると ロシア政府に対するように"extremely disapointed"
（極めて失望した）とか"unacceptable"(受け入れられない）という表現になります。
同盟に影響が及ぶようなものではありません。
