Anyone who has taken one of my Online Classes has probably met my cat, Okoge, or at least heard her meowing.
She loves to be near people, even though she pretends like she's just hanging around by chance (人がいる所に”偶然でぶらぶらしてる”ふりをする）.
Here she is last night when my son dropped by to visit.
Look at her. She acts so casual. But she actually wants to be near my son.
By the way, did you know that my dog has a black cat on his back? This is also by chance. (偶然 -- You can also say "by coincidence".)
