I have so many embarrassing stories! I'm always making mistakes!
One of my recent embarrassing stories happened about a year ago.
My daughter was in high school then. One morning she woke up feeling sick. We decided that she should be absent from school that day, so I needed to call her school to tell her teacher.
I had been talking to her teacher the day before about another matter, so I opened my recent calls on my iPhone and clicked the most recent number. Someone answered the phone right away and said something, but I couldn't hear clearly.
But anyway, I told the person on the line that my daughter was sick and would be absent from school. I told them my daughter's name, her class number, her teacher's name, and her symptoms (症状）.
The person on the other end seemed like they didn't understand me, so I repeated everything again.
Finally, the person on the line said, "I'm sorry, but I think you have the wrong number. This is Yellow Hat."
Yellow Hat?!
I was NOT expecting that, so my mind went blank (頭が真っ白). I finally remembered that I had received a call from Yellow Hat the night before about my car. So when I clicked the most recent number, I called Yellow Hat instead of my daughter's school.
Even though my daughter was feeling sick, she laughed and laughed.
