I love Japan.

I love Japanese people.

I think that people all over the world want to know more about Japan.

My mission is to help my students to have confidence to use the English that they already know to tell the world about Japan, and about their own lives.

I have had over 1600 students over a period of 33 years.  I have met so many wonderful, interesting people.  Everyone has a story!  Everyone's life is interesting!

I want people in other countries to know more about Japan--not only anime and Ghibli and geisha and sushi--but I want them to know about ordinary people in Japan.  I want them to know how interesting and amazing and funny and kind Japanese people are.

And the best way for the world to know about this is for Japanese people to be able to communicate with people from other countries.

English is a good tool for this.

You don't need to speak English perfectly.  You don't need perfect grammar.  You don't need to know many words.  You just need confidence to use the English that you already know!

If you ever want help accessing this confidence, please get in touch with me.  That's my specialty!
