音楽活動をしていると必ず何かしらのトラブルは起きるし継続することが何よりの基本なのはわかります。それでもショックで無気力になったりモチベーションが上がらないことも、長年音楽活動をしていると必ず起きます。
しかし、5年も10年も正当な努力を重ねて壁を何度も乗り越えてきたアーティストなら絶対にファンもいます。
評価してくれている人もたくさんいます。
そんなことで軸がぶれたり、活動をやめたりするのは本当に惜しいことだと強く思います。
現に私にも心から思ってくださってるファンがいます。
活動初期のデスロールを知ってる方なら、どれだけ成長できてるかご存じでしょう。
つまり何が言いたいかというと、その場その場の意見や感情、トラブルのために今まで頑張ってきたことを放棄しないでほしい。
それは色んな人に伝えたい私からのメッセージです。
When you’re involved in music for a long time, it’s inevitable that you’ll encounter various troubles. Of course, I understand that the most fundamental thing is to keep going.
Still, it’s only natural to feel shocked or lose motivation from time to time — even after years of effort.
But if you’ve been putting in honest effort for five or even ten years, overcoming obstacles again and again, then you definitely have fans.
There are people out there who truly appreciate what you do.
That’s why I believe it’s such a shame when someone loses their direction or quits because of temporary issues or opinions.
I, too, have fans who genuinely support me from the bottom of their hearts.
Anyone who has followed DEATHROLL since the early days knows just how much I’ve grown.
What I want to say is this:
Don’t throw away everything you’ve worked so hard for because of momentary feelings, setbacks, or outside noise.
That is my message — one I hope will reach many people.
