The courses in the form of "classes" ended today.
Although there are some group work and presentations to make for this week and next week, no more "classes". The MBA program's last class was "Design and Creativity". This course is far from what one may expect as a subject taught in an MBA program. Since we are making a business plan for the entrepreneurship course, in the "D&C" course, we have as a lecturer a designer. We went through the process of coming up with our own "logo" for the "imaginary" company we will set up in the Entrepreneurship course. I really enjoyed this class. We did some Soba making to grasp the feeling through our 5 senses. We thought about the concepts of our business and how to describe that in our logo. We showed our logo to each other almost every week and commented on each other's logo.
I also had the finals for VC today.
Since I have so many rooms for improvements to make in discussions,
presentation, etc., I look forward to the real business world I will be facing from September. (That is, IF I get a job..)
I also learned the importance of "time management" here.
Allocation of time. Do things efficiently. Or to put it this way, you have to do things efficiently to keep up with the schedule. If I go out in the business world, it will strictly be required, and as I climb up the corporate ladder, more of it will be required. I recall seeing my boss at my former company with such a busy schedule, but how he was managing it.
Tomorrow, I have one interview with a foreign financial company.
