お正月にどこもいけなかったので、
箱根の温泉に行ってきました
硫黄の濁り湯に入りたかった
Since I couldn't go anywhere over the New Year holiday, I decided to visit a hot spring in Hakone. I really wanted to soak in a sulfur-rich cloudy bath.
でも、大涌谷は行ったことあるからそこまでは行かず、電車で行けるところで
ということで、
小田原で降りてから探すことに
どうも強羅まで行けば、濁り湯があるっぽい
But since I’ve been to Owakudani before, I didn’t go that far this time. I decided to get off at Odawara and look for somewhere I could go by train. It seemed like there were cloudy sulfur baths in Gora.
登山電車に乗って、ケーブルカーに乗って
温泉の前に箱根美術館に
I took the mountain train and the cable car, and visited the Hakone Museum of Art before going to the hot spring.
苔の蒸す感じの庭が見れたら嬉しかったなぁ
ご飯食べるために駅まで戻ったんだけど、
下り坂だから
「近いジャーン」と思ってしまい、
再度登って温泉に行く時には
「歩きでもいいよねー」となってしまい
I was happy to see the mossy garden.
I went back to the station to eat lunch.
It was downhill, so I thought, “Oh, it’s close!”
Then, when I went to the hot spring again, I said, “Let’s walk!”
しかし、これが判断ミス
坂がキツい
But that was a bad idea... The hill was really steep.
何度あるのよって感じ
だからケーブルカーなんだね
普通の電車じゃ登れないんだと納得
How steep is this!
Now I understand why people take the cable car—regular trains can't go up that slope.
肝心の温泉はだーれもいなくて、露天もあって、いいお湯でしたわ♨️
At the hot spring, there was no one else, and it had an outdoor bath too. The water was great.
目的の濁り湯に入れて非常に満足でした
I was really satisfied because I could soak in the milky sulfur bath I was looking for.
