【古墳】とは？？

古墳は埋葬塚(buriak mounds)のことで、３世紀から６世紀に

かけて(from the 3rd century to the 6th century)古墳

時代の(in the Tumulus peiod)支配者階級(the ruling

　class)の人々のために作られた(be built for..)ものである。

古墳には数多くの(numerous)宝石(jewels)や金属の鏡

(metal mirros)そして埴輪(clay figures)のような埋葬品

(funerary objects)が一緒に葬られている。(contain..)

【Kofun】

Kofun are burial mounds which were built for the

people of the ruling class in the Tumuus period,

from the 3rd century to the 6th century. They

contain nemerous funerary objects such as jewels,

metal mirrors and clay figures.

古墳は埋蔵塚のことで、３世紀から６世紀にかけての古墳時代

の支配者階級の人々のために作られたものである。その中には

宝石、金属の鏡、そして埴輪のような数多くの埋葬品が一緒に

埋められている。
