「かつて木の中が燃えて空洞になってしまったケヤキの木を園内に移植したところ、すぐすくと元気に成長したことから「しあわせの木」と呼ばれるようになりました。 この木の中で撮った写真を持ち歩くといいことが起きるかも…」とのことです。
Inside the tree of Happiness
It says: "A zelkova tree once burned and became hollow inside. After it was transplanted into the park, it quickly grew strong and healthy again, so people began to call it “The Tree of Happiness.” It is said that carrying a photo taken inside this tree may bring you good fortune…"
なんと、こんな所で1000年以上前の富士山の噴火でできた溶岩樹形を見ることができるなんて！
山中湖付近では、このような岩がゴロゴロ出てくるとのことで、ここは公園の開発の折に発見されたものを、そのまま展示しているとのことでした。
Wow, you can see the lava tree mould formed by the eruption of Mt. Fuji more than 1000 years ago here!
I heard that there are many rocks like this in the vicinity of Lake Yamanaka, and this place was discovered during the development of the park and is displayed as it is.

富士山の全容が見られたのは、ほんの15分ほどでした。なんてラッキーだったのでしょう。
It was only about 15 minutes that I could see the whole view of Mount Fuji. How lucky I was!

To my surprise, just two days later on Thursday, weather forecaster Tsukasa Yoda introduced this park on the weather segment of the morning show Good! Morning, and I was absolutely thrilled!
