こんな丘や小さな村をいくつもも越えて行きます！
On the 3rd day, we drove to the west in our rental car.
Passing hills and small towns one after another...
そして現れた。
and then it was there.
すごいぞ～～～。本物のストーンヘンジだ！
Whoaaa it's the stonehenge! in our face!
オーディオを聞きながら結構近くまで行けちゃう。
このオーディオは長くて私はすぐに断念。(^▽^;)
しっかり説明してもらえます。
空気感だけたっぷり味わう事にしてぐるぐるお散歩しました。
不思議な迫力なのです！
You can go up pretty close to it.
There's an audio device you can rent but it's pretty damn long.
I gave up in 5 minutes and decided to just enjoy the stroll around the circle. (^▽^;)
It's so strangely majestic.
小１時間ストーンヘンジをぐるぐるして、またまた西へ。
We spent about an hour here circling around, then headed to the west again.
狭い田舎道を猛スピードで運転して、（制限速度がなぜかめちゃ速い）
しばらくすると左方向に岩がぽつぽつと出現！
We drove through narrow country roads like maniacs (Speed limit was insanely fast.)
and we found some more rocks!
なんだかただならない雰囲気。
What are all these mysterious rocks??
ここがエイブベリーのストーンサークルの始まり。
周りは平原で、とてもきれいなのです。。。
This is the beginning of Stone Circle in Avebury.
The village is surrounded by fields and hills, and is really pretty.
テリー、登っちゃった後に「触ってもいいけど登るな」というサインを発見。(^▽^;)
いつもの事だけど！！
Terry finds the sign says "You can touch it but no climbing" after climbing a rock. (^▽^;)
That's a first.
エイブベリーは程よく観光化されていた。
石で一通り遊んで。。。
There were surprisingly a lot of tourists in this small town.
It didn't ruin its atmosphere though.
We had fun with these rocks.
町の中のマナーハウスへ行きました。
Went to the Manor house inside the village.
お庭には素敵なお花が溢れんばかりに咲いている。
The garden was in full bloom.
中もすごい事になっている～。
Inside was pretty ridiculous.
「ベッドに寝たりしてみてもいいけどこれだけは触ってくれるな」と注意があった壁紙。
They don't care if you lay on the bed or open every single drawers, the only thing you can't touch is this chinese wall paper.
このお部屋がかわいいぞ。
I like this roooom.
内装も素敵だったけど、やっぱりお庭がよかったなぁ。
お日様も出て来て、とってものどか。
Interior was nice but I like the garden even more.
So peaceful!
母がどうしても行きたかったストーンヘンジとエイブベリー。
一緒に行けてとっても幸せ。
のどかな自然と、ミステリーが混じり合ったおもしろいお出かけになりました。
I'm really happy that I could come here with my Mom.
Stonehenge and Avebury were the only place she really wanted to go when we were planning the trip.
It was such a fun day taking in the nature of country side and mysterious snippets.
