This is the third sample question of type 1 question of the TOEFL speaking section, which is to answer questions on familiar topics.
以下は、TOEFL のスピーキングテストの問題、タイプ 1 の例題3です。このタイプ 1 は、身近な話題について、意見を問われる問題です。
These practices are not specifically aiming only for TOEFL. These are speaking exercises to speak about a topic in a logical manner.
これらの練習問題は、TOEFLだけを目的としているわけではありません。ある話題について、論理的に話す練習です。
Please listen carefully to the following video and answer the question by speaking.
このビデオをよく聞いて、問に口頭で答えて下さい。
After listening to the question, you have 15 seconds to prepare your answer and 45 seconds to speak.
質問を聞いてから、15秒回答を準備する時間があります。45秒で回答を話してください。
Now when you speak, have your recording device ready and use it to record your answer. It is best to receive your answer in an audio format, but it is inconvenient for you to send it over to me. So, please type your recording and send it via message. When you type your answer, please do not edit (add/delete/change) what you recorded as your answer. It is better for you and me to receive blank messages than edited masterpieces.
さて、皆さんが口頭による解答を話す時、録音機器（PCにも、携帯にもついてます。）を準備しておき、解答を録音して下さい。音声のファイルを受け取るのが一番なのですが、送りにくいだろうと思います。ですから、録音したものを、タイプしてメッセージでお送り下さい。解答として録音したものをタイプする際は、編集（添削変更）しないで下さい。あなた方の為にも、私としても、白紙のメッセージを受け取るほうが、編集した傑作を受け取るよりも良いのです。
