英語で話しましょう － Variation on Tense 3

When something will happen a second later or 20 years later, this belongs to our future. We use the future tense.

1秒後であろうと、20年後であろうと、それは未来に属します。この場合は未来形を使います。

この図を御覧ください。

From the diagram, you could say, "I will still be a student in 2012 and will be a teacher in 2013."

この図から、「僕は2012年にはまだ学生ですが、2013年には教師になります。」と言えます。

Putting everything we studied together, "Hi! I'm Sam. Nice meeting you. Currently, I'm a student. I was a sales clerk until a few years ago and a student in 2008 and still am. I will still be a student in 2012 but will be a teacher in 2013."

これまでに学習したことをすべてまとめて、「やあ、僕はサムだ。会えて嬉しいよ。今、僕は学生だ。数年前までは店員をやってたんだけど、2008に学生になって、今もそうだ。2012年にはまだ学生をしてるだろうけど、2013年には教師になります。」

Sam、Student、Sales clerk、Teacher や時を自分に合うように変えて、話してみてください。
