今回のS/S 08 Collection のキャンペーンで、かばんにも使われてるJames Jean のillustrationを使ったショートフィルムの上映会だった。

Pradaみたいなブランドがこういうショートフィルムを作ってHPで見せたり、Youtubeにあったり、プロダクト作って世界中で上映会パーティーやって、というworld wide pr が興味深かった。I guess the method is somewhat new in the high fashion industry. 最近はstreet brands aim for luxury too だけど、ハイブランドがストリートのテイストも取り入れるのが目立ってきてブランドのidentity が変わってきている気がする。Fendi, とうとうお目めパッチリbearbrick 使ってるもんな・・・長い目で見てどうなんだろう。
