なら歴史芸術文化村で行われた、吉野杉と吉野桧を使ったワークショップに参加して、吉野桧の香り高い「三方」と、吉野杉面皮を使った「クリスマスリース」を手作りしました
I participated in a workshop using Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress held at the "Nara History, Arts and Culture Village" and made a Yoshino cypress's fragrant "Sanbou'' and "Christmas wreath'' using Yoshino cedar skin.
軽い気持ちで参加したのですが、作家さん達の想いを伺い、奈良の伝統工芸の現状を知り、思わずのめり込んでしまいました。「古きを尋ねて新しきを知る」作家さんは、現代の生活に彩りを添える作品を産み出しています
I participated with a casual mindset, but as I listened to the artists' thoughts and learned about the current state of Nara's traditional crafts, I couldn't help but get hooked. Artists who "investigate the old and discover the new'' create works that add color to modern life.

会場は木の香りに包まれ皆和気あいあい！とっても楽しい時間を共有しました。
The venue was filled with the scent of wood and everyone was in a good mood! We shared a very fun time.
今回は事前にオンラインで作家さんと繋がっていたのでより親しみやすかったです💕来月は事後研修ということで作業所にも行けるみたい
今から楽しみにしています。
This time I connected with the artist online beforehand, so it was easier to get to know them💕Next month is the post-training, so I think I can go to the workplace.
I'm looking forward to it now.
