『和英対照仏教聖典』 Dharmaおしえ Chap.1CAUSATION 因縁-3-3, pp.86-89.
In this world there are three wrong viewpoints.
（直訳）この世には／私たちの生き方には／三つの誤った見方がある。
world：[singular] the society that we live in, the way people behave, and the kind of life we have
First, some say that all human experience is based on destiny;
（直訳）まず第一に、人生におけるあらゆる体験・経験は（すべて）運命に基づいている、とある者はいう。
experience ：knowledge of life [uncountable] knowledge that you gain about life and the world by being in different situations and meeting different people, or the process of gaining this
体験・経験：体験とは、直接的に自分が経験した出来事や感情のことを指します。一方、経験とは、ある期間にわたって行われた出来事や学びを通じて得た知識やスキル、洞察力などを指します。
second, some hold that everything is created by God and controlled by His will;
（直訳）ふたつに、あらゆるものは、（ある特定の）神によって創造され、その意志によって支配されている、という考えもある。
will： [countable, uncountable] determmination to do something that you have decied to do, even if this is difficult
third, some say that everything happens by chance without having any cause or condition.
（直訳）第三に、あらゆるものは、なんらの原因も条件もなく、偶然に生じている、とある者はいう。
cause と conditionは、「因（と）縁hetu-pratyaya」に相当し、因は結果を招くべき直接の原因、縁は因を助けて結果を生ぜしめる間接の原因をいいます。
If all has been decided by destiny, both good deeds and evil deeds are predetermined, weal and woe are predestined; nothing would exist that has not been foreordained. Then all human plans and efforts for improvement and progress would be in vain and humanity would be without hope.
destiny： [uncountable] the power that some people belive decides what will happen to them in the future
good deeds and evil deeds：それぞれ「善業（ぜんごう）、善い行い」「悪業（あくごう）、悪しき行い」をいいます。
deed：noun [countable] something someone does, especially something that is very good or very bad
wealは幸福、富、財＞wealthy：having a lot of money, possessions、woeはgreat sadness で、あわせて「禍福」（か・ふく）をいいます。「善因楽果」「悪因苦果」の「楽果」「苦果」に相当します。
nothing would exist that has not been foreordained：（直訳）あらかじめ定められていないものは何も存在しない。
したがって、第一の見解は「宿命論・運命論」となります。
Then all human plans and efforts for improvement and progress would be in vain and humanity would be without hope.
（直訳）そういうわけで、改善や進歩のためのあらゆる計画も努力も空しいものとなり、人類は希望なきものと／希望を失うことに／なってしまう。
humanity：[uncountable] people in general
第二の見解は「神意論」であり、第三のそれは「偶然論」となります。
それに対して、仏教は縁起説を説くのです。
In fact, these three conceptions or viewpoints are all wrong : everything is a succession of appearances whose source is the accumulation of causes and conditions.
（直訳）事実として、これらの三つの考え、見解は誤っています。（私たちの経験する）あらゆるものは、多くの原因と条件との集積を源泉とする／起因する／一連のあらわれ（生成消滅）である。
『仏教聖典』上の後半部分は「どんなことも縁によって生じ、縁によって滅びるものである。」とあります。
