猫のお菓子 Cat Sweets

もちろん、ありますよ。(^^)

Of course, I've owned a cat before.

チャミ（茶トラ猫）、チャコ（黒トラ猫）、タロウ（キジトラ）・・・。

Chami (brown tabby cat), Chaco (black tabby cat), Taro (pheasant tabby cat)...

小学生の頃に飼っていた猫たちです。

These are the cats I had when I was in elementary school.

あと、私が物心つく前に、両親はムク（長毛種の猫）を飼っていたようです。

Also, it seems that my parents had a muk (a long-haired cat) before I could remember.

私たち家族は、大の猫好きだったのです。

Our family was big cat lovers.

そのためなのか、「あそこの家は猫を大事にする」と、他人は思ったのでしょう。

Maybe that's why other people thought, ''That house takes care of cats.''

我が家に猫を捨てていった人々がいたのも、事実です。

It is true that there were people who abandoned their cats in our homes.

でも、そんな奴らの思いなど念頭になく、私たち家族は、猫たちを「家族」にして、思いっきり、可愛がりました。(^^)

However, without considering their thoughts, our family treated the cats as ''family'' and loved them to the fullest.

さて、今日は「猫の日」。

Well, today is "Cat Day".

前日に、猫好きな私に、弟が、次のようなお菓子を買ってくれました。(*^^*)

The day before, my younger brother bought the following sweets for me, who loves cats.

まずは、「きにゃこもち」。(^^)

First of all, "Kinyakomochi"

(Kinyako = きな粉 Soybean flour, Mochi = 餅 rice cake)

可愛いパッケージですね。(^^)

It's a cute package.

おや、急に現れた、この茶トラ猫は？

Oh, what about this brown tabby cat that suddenly appeared ?

実は、猫好きの私に、今は亡き母がプレゼントしてくれた茶トラ猫の置物です。(^^)

Actually, it's a brown tabby cat figurine that my late mother gave me as a cat lover.

お菓子自体は、きな粉と甘みの調和が絶妙で、さっぱりとした味わいだったので、実に美味しく、いただきました。(^^)

The sweets themselves had a perfect balance of soybean flour and sweetness, and had a refreshing taste, so I really enjoyed them.

弟は、こちらのお菓子も買ってくれました。

My younger brother also bought this sweets for me.

「肉球のにゃんパフェ」です。(^^)

"Paw Meat Nyan Parfait".

どのような味わいがあるか、とても楽しみですね。(^o^)

I'm really looking forward to seeing how it tastes.
