Creating "buzz" involves metallurgy; turning metal into gold. The viral space is full of spinsters, who use the internet to create smoke. The viral space isnt necessarily fit for corporates - in fact, most o the "crowd"; the influenceers and "alpha bloggers" - are just web savvy kids, who don't respond well to corporates. Their free space is on the web, and this is where they live and thrive, not subject to restrictions by the analog world.

This is why, i think, that while corporates will try to enter the viral space, the real creators of buzz and chaos here will be unidentifyable inviduals, domains, and content whose rights owners are not as concerned about controlling their works, as they are about getting them seen.

Turned on the tv for the first time in ages last night. I saw something that i had seen before - lads in an office, repeatedly calling some unsuspecting fellow, and saying he owed money for a phone service. This guy didn't pay, but the amazing thing is the number of people who did! incredible - without any recollection of using the service, these folks were told to pay by someone who made a claim, and they paid! unbelievable. "Only in japan" i thought.
