地震のあった日から毎日
友達からも
日本の地震のこと知ってる？？
大丈夫？？
ってメールがきたり
どこかに出かけて
日本人だってわかられると
日本の地震は大丈夫なの？
家族は大丈夫？
って声をかけてもらったり
世界中から声をかけてもらって
心配してもらって本当にありがたい限りです。
毎日こちらでもニュースは日本の地震ばかり。
日本にいないわたしたちも
わたしたちには海を越えて何ができるだろうと話していたところ
こんなニュースを発見！
Lady Gagaが日本のために作ったリストバンド！
被災地のためにデザインされたリストバンドで
白いベースに赤い文字で
日本のために祈りを WE PRAY FOR JAPAN
と書いてあります。
一本5ドルで ドネーションを追加することもできる。
お金は全てそのまま日本に送られるそうです。
このニュースをみてすごく感動しました！
あれだけ影響力のある人がこうしてくれることで
ドネーションをしようって思う人も増えるんだとおもいます。
すごく嬉しくてとりあえず友達と合わせて数本オーダーしました
25日に発送されるようだけど
もっと早く発売されて募金がされるといいな．．．
そしてもう一つは
DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS
CHARITY NAVIGATOR
たくさん出回っている募金の情報だけど
ときには何ドル募金されても1/3未満しか本当は送っていないところもあるらしいのです。
このサイト（Doctors without borders）はアメリカ人おすすめの
一番おかねを無駄にしていない募金サイトだそうです。
いろいろな人のブログで読んだけれど
どうやらこういう状況にはお金の募金が一番必要なようなので
わたしたちもできるだけ貢献できるようにがんばります
Ever since the earthquake has happened in Japan
Everyone has been asking me if I was okay if my family is okay...
I am fine as I live in Australia and
My family is also okay so far as they don't live up in north.
Although we don't know what would happen next and
apparently it's not just getting better and better
Japan needs to be even more prepared for what's gonna happen.
I have been discussing about this with my friends and
been wondering what we could do about it.
there are a lot of charity websites going around but
figured that apparently some organizations do not send the money directly to the place.
Some only send like less than 1/3 of the money they have got from donations.
And now so what can we do??
I've been recommended this charity website from my friend in the states.
DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS
They always get there first and use very little money for non charity work
and they would not waste any money.
This place should be great to donate money to.
Also I have actually seen this news today that
Lady Gaga has designed a wristband for the Japan quake victims
The wristband is white and says 'We Pray For Japan/日本の為に祈りを' in red.
It's 5 dollars the wristband itself but you can actually add an additional donation with your wristband when you are purchasing one.
All proceeds go directly to Japan relief efforts apparently, this would be a great way of donating money for them and it will be great to have this wristband on my wrist.
The first shipping seems to be on 25th of March so it's a while away but now they are open for pre order so check them out.
I was and am very happy that Lady Gaga actually has taken action and is very much supporting Japan not only tweeting support.
My friends and I have ordered a few and would like everyone to know about this as well
We have been just talking about what we could do for Japan from here but
hope doing these all should help them at least..
and hoping Japan will be fully supported from the world in this situation.
As the wristbands say
we are always praying for them, from all over the world
Hope Japan will remain strong and recover very soon.
