Parallels Workstation のβ６が公開

Parallels Software International は、Intel プロセッサ搭載 Mac 上で Windows XP などの OS を仮想マシンとして動作させるソフトウェア「Parallels Workstation 2.1 for Mac OS」の最新版、β６を公開した。

今回の主な修正点は以下の通り。

- USB fixes (more devices supported: PDA, scanner, etc.)
- Shared Folders fixes (added support for guest Windows 2000)
- Network improvements: host-only networking
- Custom video resolutions support added
- Image Tool introduced
- Autoupdate introduced
- Kernel panic in virtual memory manager fixed
- Shutdown in fullscreen mode hang fixed
- Virtual disk sync() problem with Linux guests fixed

今回のアップデートで USB デバイスのサポート範囲が広がり、Windows 2000 における共有フォルダ機能が新たにサポートされている。
