「事実だけを歌うことに決めた13歳の歌手」
という、なんかすごい売り文句が付いてた。
歌がうまい。歌声が大人っぽい。
サビが良い。サビだけ聞いたら、大変な名曲、みたいな感じだった。
全体を聞いたら、こんなことを言ったら不謹慎かも知れないが、
なんか、そりゃ事実なんだろうけど、真面目な事実をそのまま真面目に歌われると、ちょっと、なんか笑ってしまうというか、あまりに事実すぎて替え歌みたいに聞える節があったりして、どうにもこうにも、個人的にはすごくこの人のことを私は嫌いだと思った。
不幸を売り物にしていようがしていなかろうが、まぁそれは良いとして、こんなに良い声で歌が上手いならもっと違う種類の歌を歌ったほうが良いと思う。
事実事実しすぎると嘘みたいになってしまう。
隠そうが明かそうが、どのみち事実は事実であって、
それは滲み出るものだし、滲み出るからこそ事実の意味があるというか。
I just encountered her song a few minutes ago:
Ayumi Nakagawa, a 14-year-old female singer with a catchphrase,
'Sings nothing but facts'.
Sounds cool.
So, I listened to her song, and I found that I dislike her music while I really admire how well she sings, how great her voice is, and how nice the melodies she's composed are.
The reason why I don't like it, I think, is that it sounds too serious.
As she sings only facts, which is in this case that her parents deserted her when she was 6, it sounds a sort of painful. But then, it also could be said that I can't help laughing at the seriousness.
Well, please don't misunderstand.
I never mean that the fact itself is funny.
What I wanna emphasize is that sometimes very serious facts sound like lies or jokes because people are not used to face only 'facts', but balancing them with lies, fancy or something.
I would like her to sing other kinds of songs, like, a song with a lot of jokes.
There would be a shadow that makes listeners feel something special even if it's a 'kidding' song.
That is what is called 'the fact,' I suppose.
