thanks for the care, friends.

i am ok. around me the railroads stopped working and so the telephones lines. i have never experienced such an enormous earthquake, at first i thought the towers of my CDs(deemed about 300) would crumble down, but they have remained in the end. almost all the tv broadcasts are dominated by the news of the earthquake. they say it is the biggest one ever observed.

in fact, my sister and her husband live in some major local city very close to the centre of the damage. i have heard that now they are in their car, as the apartment is messed up with no electricity nor gas. and they have no foods to eat. but they are alive.

as it has happened in japan, watching sceneries familiar to me collapsing in an instant, it is easy to imagine how it make the ones suffer if the everyday lives turn to such wretched states.

i have heard of the united nations' report that over 50 nations over the world expressed the support. i feel very thankful hearing it as one japanese.

i hope their lives back to normal soon as possible.
