I created the route outline of this trip plan in Excel so that you can see it on the map, so I will introduce it with an image.

Looking at this, I can understand the movement within Europe well.

As already mentioned in No13, Ryanair, I booked flights for long distance travel within Europe.
I decided to use 'Vueling' and 'Iberia' as well as 'Ryanair', which has both advantages and disadvantages, but I would like to discuss air fares in detail this time.

I think I mentioned it last time, but if you don't have a lot of baggage, the fare for Ryanair is extremely cheap, and it's about the same as a bus fare.
However, I couldn't keep all the luggage within 7kg in the trip for more than a month, so I added a fee and chose a class called "Regular" and chose a fee that allows one additional luggage of up to 10kg. It's about doubled.
Still, I think it's pretty cheap.

I used the other two companies for the first time this time, but there was a price difference of about 3.3 times for the same distance.
The reason is also the difference in the handling of luggage.
"Iberia" below ⑤ was able to add one piece of luggage without additional charge, but "Vueling" below ④ was not possible, so an additional charge was incurred, which was quite expensive.

-------------------------------------------------

Airfare details per person are as follows.
①From Catania (Sicily) to Athens ➡︎56.09€
②From Athens to Malta ➡︎64.56€
③From Malta to Marseille ➡︎137.27€
④From Barcelona to San Sebastian ➡︎¥13,090
⑤ San Sebastian to Madrid ➡︎ 3,940 yen
⑥Sevilla to Porto ➡︎80.99€
⑦From Porto to Ciampino (Rome) ➡︎83.15€

★ Ryanair fare total 422.06€
   Card Fee total 10.055€
    Total 432.115€
Ryanair exchange rate average 159.65 yen/€
[Japanese yen conversion total 68,990 yen]

★ [2 other companies Total fare: 17,030 yen]

◾️ [Grand total 86,020 yen]

Actually, Ryanair's bill is displayed in euros, but it was billed in yen converted into yen using its own exchange rate, which is much higher than Sony Bank's exchange rate.
The other two companies were billed in yen from the beginning, including the fee.

-------------------------------------------------

I already mentioned the round-trip airfare to Japan in No. 12, but the total flight fare including the above was less than 220,000 yen, so I am satisfied because it is much cheaper than the tour fee of the travel agency. .
