The Parthenon I haven't seen yet

Well, next is after Sicily. The more I learned about ancient Rome, the more I fell in love with Greece. I wonder why it prospered so much even though it was not a centralized government but a collection of city-states. No matter how powerful ancient Rome becomes, it cannot surpass Greece in terms of culture, art, philosophy and gods. In the first place, it seems that the Romans, whose roots were in the spirit of fusion and tolerance, accepted Greece, learned from it, and longed for it.

Fly from Catania to Athens. I would like to see the Parthenon, even if it doesn't look like what it used to be. I would also like to see the current situation after the temporary economic crisis.

Also, if I go to Sicily, I want to stop by Malta. Although it is a small island, it seems to have a unique culture and history. The current plan is Catania to Greece, and Greece to Malta. Actually, from Catania to Malta, and then to Greece, the travel distance is shorter, but there is no convenient flight to the next destination.

All of these trips will be by air.
