こんばんわ。LJです。
２５日Persona4MusicBandという名義でアニサマ２０１２に参加させてもらいました。
お客さんの熱気が凄まじくて終始楽しめました。ありがとうございます。
・・・twitterでオレがアフリカ系アメリカ人だといってた人がいたらしいけど・・・
日本人ですぜ、おれw
日本の外いくとき、醤油持っていくしw ⬅そこ？
さて今回はバンドとしては２曲。
ペルソナ４アニメの２期オープニング曲 key plus wordsと１期のエンディング Beauty of Destinyを演奏。オレはrapボーカルでBeauty of Destinyで参加しましたが、どちらも歌詞を担当させてもらった作品なので、舞台下でkey plus wordsを歓声と共に聞けたのが一番感動しました。
ちなみにオレ今回初ポップアップというもので登壇させてもらいました。
いきなり舞台の真ん中からでてくるアレね。アレ。うぃーーーんってやつ。
言ったらさ、舞台裏からワープして舞台に立つわけですよね。
異次元から異次元な感じでしたよ、まじで。
約２万７千人の熱気と黄色のサイリュームで埋め尽くされたさいたまアリーナ。
俄然あがりましたよ。
ただ舞台にあがってきたらピアノがわんわん回っちゃってたから出だし間違えちゃったぜ。
さーせん。
決して緊張のアガッテタわけじゃありませんw
でもあの光景は一生忘れないな。どこみても笑顔とサイリューム。
スマイルって伝染しますね。いい病原菌だ。
そしてもう一つ感じたのは、アニメというものは以前から市民権を得ているジャンルだけど、今回自分がフェス的なものに参加させてもらって、すでにニッチでなくメジャーグラウンドの規模だということ。でもオタク文化が廃れる事なく、全体のレベルがあがっているように感じました。底上げ。
これって文化の成長じゃね？なんか誇らしいですよ。オレも。
ちなみにHip Hopも比較的まだ若いジャンルで表にでるようになったのがようやく７０年代後半とかでした。それから色々なフォームに変化して、今に至る。残念ながら、オレの目には日本にHip Hopは根付かなかったように見えるけど、実はですね、去年だったか、一昨年世界で一番売れている音楽がアメリカのヒップホップという凄まじさなんです。比較対象が売れてるなんちゃらってことじゃなくて、それだけ人が聞いてるってことの強調ね。
その勢いをアニソンに感じましたよ。また違った色なんだけど、面白い。
そんなアニソンの祭典では日本一、もしかしたら世界規模で最大級というものに参加させてもらって心から光栄でした！

Summer of 2012
been a while for English post, hope everyone is good!!
I am good. Finally, good acutally.
But my summer of 2012 has been a bit hectic.
It began with a swollen tonsil, high fever. It was like kick in your groin 300 times kind of fever, I was down for 5 days straight.
That was end of June.
And I have suffered a vocal cord inflammation, forcing me to rest but stay speechless which happened to be the Olympics period.
I wasn't allowes to whisper, talk nor obviously sing/rap.
No Spoken Words what so ever!! I couldn't yell my cheers when the players put on a gold medal show. Yeah it blew. Yet the old fashion hand clapping was the best I could do lol.
And it was tough cuz just imagine how unhandy it is to communicate with others without speaking. Communicating without having the communication media. I must say I am a master of gestures after forced on the job training week, and iPhone never looked so handsome, my voice device.
I got back on track after 10 days,
but anytime one catches any types of illnesses,
complete recovery requires quite some time.
Since my rest was profoundly done in meticulous fashion, weakening my muscles,it took more than expected to fully recover.
Losing one's voice is a shared nightmare among all singers yo.
I'm just glad it wasn't polyp and that is serious business.
Aight, enough of that cuz I am BACK!! better than I ever been!
This weekend will be this Anime Festival at an arena,
filled with ants of people. You know, as y'all already know,
my songs are strictly hip hop style and sometimes J-rap type of music.
And songs related to Persona is far from what they call Anime genre.
It's a real step forward for me of course but for the community of Anime as well. As it seems the industry has stemmed down from major scenes to niche markets and those niche has grown so big that an underground rapper like myself gets to step on stage of an arena. It's good news for all and most of all, the audience such as yourself has recognized and loved the music that is not so commercial. Loving the diversity. Thank you.
We are going to have a blast saturday!
And for more news, my 1st promotion video is DONE!!!!!
It will be uploaded right after clearing out minor issues.
All I can say is directors and I are PROUD to present this video.
We are very very sure that nobody has ever shot a hip hop video like this and we cannot wait to up it.
I know I kept some on wait, please give me just a little more time.
Aight guys, I got an early rehearsal tomorrow.
