SO.
I got a random e-mail like I always do from this kid name Josh a year ago.
He says he is a fan of my work, convinced that others are in love as well and wanted to book me for North America Anime Conventions.
I was highly doubtful, since I get these bunch of BS stuff.
Once a UK label wanted to sign me but manager got arrested somehow and blah blah blah. Now that was an easy no for me.
So naturally I wasn't enthusiastic to replying but he was different from others. He kept on writing to me and each time, it was polite, honest and convincing somehow.
I said to myself, why not just get on board and see wasup? You know? just give him and myself a chance. I got nothing to lose, right?
Then....a lot of mail exchanges and BOOM! NDK2013!
Scheduling was the only problem but the project turned out to be educational, making connenctions, having fun and finally understanding the fans in the States. I really have to thank Josh for this opportunity.
I had a ball out there!! WOW forgetabout it! First I went to San Francisco to meet with Raj Ramayya. Now his bio is unbelievable. He lived in Japan for 18 yrs, more than 250 CM music, Cowboy Bebop music with Yoko Kanno, numerous chorus works, composing, etc,. We had similar contacts as well.
So by the end of our first lunch we were pretty much chill, like we've known each other for a long time.
Oh yeah his studio was a beautiful piece! His assitant DJ Sebastian 3000 had a beat ready for me and took about a day to write and just RECed it.
Seems like we will be collabo-ing a lot from now on, we havn't even thought of a name to this project, but musicians in a studio? Heck we just love to work and we clicked just like that.
So after staying in SF for a few days, we all flew over to Denver.
United Airlines killed me for leaving my luggage behind in SF but luckily they got it back in time, thank you NDK staff!! I had a lot of stuff in there including my original costume.
I am usually in a somewhat flamboyant B-boy gears but this time I knew it would be filled with ppl in costumes. So I HAD to take part too :)
I ordered a traditional kimono of a samurai just like Ryoma Sakamoto. He was a revolutionary impact in the Meiji Era.

Same birthday supposedly.
I had a bit of a problem with the sound system, but the audience seemed to like it. And that is what matters the most.

I had a beatbox session with Raj before I got up on my set where he would improvise the lyrics, began singing about cat twerking and gang bow lol.
Raj is one of the most talented and the funniest, I love this dude yo lol. I miss them already.
But sorry it took so long to write this, I got back, went to a few studios and caught a nasty cold.
I am still feeling a bit dizzy from these anti-biotics but much much better.
I can't wait to be at another convention, and maybe see you all at NDK2014.....if they invite me:)
But even if not, I am already asked to perform at countries abroad. I don't have details but people are talking about Mexico, Kansas, Australia and so on.
I don't know how realistic it is, since my schedule is a bit tight, but if I'm open, I am ready for all of it.
Thank you Nan Desu Kan 2013 once again, the countless staff members I really appreciated your full support, Strawberry Hill Music, and everybody who showed up at the convention.

さてさて追記です。
もう４日間経ってるけど写真さらにアップします。
まずはいきなりですが、P3,P4のイラストレーター（って名称であってますか？）副島さんと。中内ち上げにて。
お互い話してたらお互いのファンなんだよねｗ 外から見てたら気持ち悪いだろうくらい褒めあいしてしましたｗ
そんなのを横目に”いいな～アニキ～”っといってた平田ちゃんをよんですかさず写真をパシャリ。
オレこのウィッグすげー似合ってると思うこれ。
そんな中打ち上げでアトラスさんが用意してくれたケーキ！これ食べれなかったな。時間の関係で。
テオドアとエリザベス。このエリザベスの人かわいすぎでしょ。
ちょっと一緒の写真緊張したｗ
そして前も書いたけど銀魂の銀さんとかやってる声優の杉田さん。真ん中で崩壊してますねｗオレも変顔にすればよかったｗ

Here is the English blog that I promised for all.
Persona Music Fes 2013 @Nippon Budokan!!!
YES WE DID IT.!!!HUGE SUCCESS!!!! THX TO ALL THE PPL WHO CAME, AS WELL AS WHO WANTED TO COME BUT COULD NOT PARTICIPATE!!!!
The show was purely amazing. Crowd went buckwild, just blazing.
Aight, tell tales.
We were notified about this show a while back actually, and Atlus and us became very tight during the process of making this happen.
I cannot really say much about the proceedings, but it took many discussions throughout, which turned out to be the one we got really involved from the beginning at least for my part. I loved it because I always feel like I need to grow up as a person to enhance my skill as a rap artist. As you know I rap a lot about life, real thoughts and less about ...you know. Dealing with business matters or relations was very educational.
Anyways I gotta thank all the staffs who made this happen and shout out to all who could not be there.
OK, for those of you unfamiliar with Budokan, the venue is the most prestigious venue in Japan. It is also a brand that many consider it a path to success as an artist.
We did not know if we were really ready for this, but little did we know that the tickets would sell out in 10 min.
I was like "is it really possible to sell that many tickets in 10 min?!" supposedly yes. I knew then, that I must make this show the best out of all.
I called up 2 dancers Mayuki and Sachie, asked them to choreograph songs. They both have different tastes, Mayuki loves to mess around, loves fun stuff, and also can be Jazzy, Sexy and Hip Hop.
Sachie has the young, blow to the stomach move where her complex groove has a sense of simplicity. They were amazing choreographers and rest of the dancers put on a hot show!
Shout out to Ryu, Hide, Yukko and Nanaka for doing their thing!
DJ is as always DJ WAKA. This was the first time I actually went into the booth and rec-ed some lines so he can scratch. If you can see the show on Nico Nico check out P3Fes, opening for Mass Destruction and Burn My Dread ~Last Battle~ it is my voice only for this show. He still got the touch for it yall.
I got to really talk with Shihoco and her manager this time. We had our thoughts and sharing them kind of led to better performance I think. I personally hate seeing artists not talking to each other at small club events cuz what comes down to is that, it is better to be friends than enemies. (not that we were never enemies lol) So I wanted to be closer to Shihoco as a friend even more than we were before. We went to eat at this Chinese Restaurant and when we sat down and shared our thoughts, ideas kept on flowing. I love her and she was better than she ever been this time. WOW.
Aight no explanation needed for Yumi right? We actually go out at least once a month amongst our common friends to a sushi bar or Japanese taverns and constanly talk about life in general. Of course we talk about Persona Music. She has this amazing will power for knowledge, and most of yall prolly do not know that she can do acupuncture, serously draw and so on. She gave me tips on singing and I live on that still even though I rap instead of sing. She says a song must be sang by heart not your throat or your ears. Listen carefully to how she sings next time, she has SOUL!!!Listening to Brand New Days, Burn My Dread, Kimi No Kioku and so on give me goose bumps.
Mr. Meguro Shoji was godlike lol. We were making fun of his magician look outfit but it actually suited him.
Surprisingly he became a bit emotional in Never More, which I kind of did too.
Imagine 7000 fans singing the chorus acapella. The power and emotion just took over. Don't say it's weak!! lol
Band members were amazing. New members really coped with what was built in the past 5 yrs and took it to NEW. Not EASY.
As of my part I wanted to body paint KUMA the bear and P3 character on my arms, but could not find the right body painting artist....so I went out to look for tatoo stickers.
As you can see on my previous post I have Kuma bear on my right arm and my logo on my neck. I didn't want to have a painted jeans again, wanted something new.
Aight, SO.
I think it is safe to say that
WE ROCKED BUDOKAN!!!!
