2023年1月より
家族（バリキャリ妻と3歳娘）で
シンガポールに移住しました
ローです。
最近シンガポールは意外と英語の通じる中国語圏の国と思うようになりました。
（こう考えると腑に落ちる）
ところで、週末
娘とナショナルギャラリーシンガポールに行って
お絵かきしていた時の話です
同じテーブルに娘と同じ
3歳のオーストラリア出身の子が
お母さんといました。
3歳児なのでこっちに話しかけてきて
一緒に遊んでいたのですが
「ネイティブの3歳児ってめっちゃ
英語しゃべるなぁ～」と驚きました
ウチの子もだいぶ英語しゃべれるようになってきたけど
やはりネイティブと比べると全然
そして、オーストラリア人のお母さんと
少し話したのですが、
お母さんの英語も早い(笑)
久しぶりにネイティブと話したせいか、
めっちゃ緊張してしまった。
自分から話題を提供することはなかったです(笑)
でも、あとでよく考えて気がつきますた。。
ネイティブと話したから
緊張しただけでなく
このオーストラリア人ママが
めっちゃ美人さんで
凄い笑顔で話しかけてくることに
緊張していたということを(笑)
なんであんなにしっかり目を見て
笑顔で話しができるのだろう？笑
そろそろネイティブスピーカーとの
会話も増やさないとねと
思った今日この頃でした。

I went to national galary musiam SIngapore with my daughter
When my daughter was drawing, a family from Australia with a daughter of the same age came to visit.
Since she is only three years old, she started talking to me. We were playing together, and I was amazed, thinking, "Wow, native English-speaking three-year-olds can speak English so well
My child has also become quite proficient in speaking English, but compared to native speakers, there's still a big difference. When I talked to the Australian mother, I noticed that her English was also very fast (laughs). Perhaps because it had been a while since I last spoke with a native English speaker, I felt extremely nervous. I could hardly initiate a conversation myself (laughs). But upon reflection, I realized that it wasn't just because I was talking to a native speaker, but also because this Australian mom was incredibly beautiful and approached me with a stunning smile (laughs).
Coming to think of it, it's something I often notice. It's always the beautiful moms who approach you with a big smile (of course, when I'm with my daughter). In my mind, I always exclaim, "I'm falling in love
