LinQ is a name inspired by “Love in Kyushu”, and refers to a group which connects regions, countries and things through pop idol activities.
It was established with the hope that it can act as a “bridge of smiles”. Having debuted in Kyushu in 2011, it is a nationally active idol group consisting of 29 members. Three of them, Ami Himesaki,Chiaki Yoshikawa and Sakura Araki, have been chosen to perform onstage at Matsuri Toronto Japanese Summer Festival.
A meet and greet as well as an autograph session is planned for after the show.
