When you're sick and tired of everything
"I'm so tired of everything!"That's the first thing that bursts out of my brain when I just can't take anything at all. For example, Corona. This Covid-19 trauma is as sounding as it gets when it comes to this topic.I have been thinking what to do in order to fulfill my life in midst of this craziness, and would like to sum that up here. There are five things I want to share with you all: Find objective in "daily" life, big or small I have come to a sense of solidarity when my skin breakout has gotten detrimentalduring (and continuing) stay-home order from the government, to the point where I couldn'tremember how my chin looked like without acne and rashes. I knew it was coming from the unprecedented event that was happening around me; Not being able to go out freely, people looking at you weirdly, less friendlier people, and the list goes on. But my life had to go on, whether stressed out or not. So, the first step I had to follow was to find an objective in my life. In my case, it was to spend a day without feeling regrets and do as many activities as possible. Mentally exercise to keep yourself focused So it came. My objective is to live without regrets, keep myself focused. That's it! "Focused" I found many, many things that I had left out doing before the corona event happened, and it was things like cooking, baking, reading, trying some new games, and exercising, I have been slacking on physical exercise like pushups and all but I have been keeping myself busy by performing the rest, and it really has given positive effects on my life. Expanded my horizon. Try something new to mentally exercise yourself, and hopefully leading to a happier life. Eat and drink plenty of water Simple. Skipping meals aren't good. If you must, then I would suggest taking the supplements that are also gentle on your stomach. But DO drink water. If you don't like water by itself, try electrolyte beverage like good ol'Pokari, or herbal tea to refresh your mind, Drink and eat. Only a few alcohols aresuggested. Being drunk never helps you. Find happiness in small things This is critical. Too often, we find ourselves running through a chain of negative thoughts. I have gone through this way too many times and it just made me tired and sleepless. Finding happiness in small things, like looking at flowers that you like, watch your favorite shows that bring you smiles, find happiness in achieving a daily chore like cleaning. Can be anything. We mustn't succumb to the feeling of remorse, tiredness, and negativity. Life needs to go on regardless, so why not be happier? Move your body when stressed out There are so many suggestions out there regarding exercising, and that it brings you a really positive result. I have toagree with this. Exercise does really help you. (But except for the painful muscle aches that continue on for DAYS! ouch...) If you're not into vigorous exercising like myself, try walking outside, If you live in Japan, especially, you ought to go outside and get the positive vibe from the fresh air. I wish I was there so I can walk around my favorite town in Japan. So instead I go out for a short walk on a neighborhood and it really refreshes my mind. Take your husband/wife/child(ren) with you. Even better. Helps facilitate the communication among the family members, too. These are just a few examples of things I have been enforcing upon myself to keep a healthy lifestyle. Just because we are on a verge of getting infection,it does not mean our life could be miserable. Let's stay positive, and do our best to stay as healthy as possible.Good luck!
