ディック爺とペギー・フレミングの解説
どーしてもディック・バトンを訳す際にはあの口調になってしまう。
けど、私の中ではあのキャラになっているのでそうします。

T: 今シーズンのシニア・クラスでの新しい顔の一人、日本の16歳、
ユキナ・オータです。京都出身で昨年ジュニアのGPFの勝者であり、
世界ジュニア・チャンピオンでもあります。
P: えー彼女のスケート技術は本当に心地の良い洗練さがあり、
非常に表現力豊か、かつ姿勢が素晴らしいですね。
P: まず冒頭のジャンプは3Ltzと2T...練習では手こずってましたが
どうでしょうか…

P: 今晩は大丈夫ですね。非常に綺麗でクリーン、少し素早いものでした。
T: 日本人フィギュア・スケーター、特に女子の強い出現を過去数年
目の辺りにしました。更に彼女は凝っており、ジャンパーではないん
です。ジャンプのスキルで有名ではなく、アーティスティックなスケー
ターとして知られています。
P: 彼女のスケーティング技術には自然な(?)があります。16歳という
年齢でこれは素晴らしい。次は3Fが来ます。

P: このフライング・キャメルのスピード、(以下不明)
D: スパイラル・コンビネーション、スパイラル・シーケンス。ほら
ここで彼女が生み出すチェンジ・エッジを見るんじゃ。それと
スパイラル・コンビネーションでのチェンジ・エッジは非常に
高度で、非常に興味深いものじゃった。
P: 次に2A...

P: 素晴らしい高さ、空中で非常に美しいです。
D: このコが膝を上げる前に、最初のエッジが膝下にいる間、どれだけ
エッジを深く下げているか目につくと思うのじゃが。
P: ジャンプを果敢に挑んで跳びました。このゴージャスなレイバック・
スピン。腕のポジションがとても美しい。
P: ストレート・ラインのフットワークに入りましたが・・・他とはとても
一線を画します！
D: 音楽に応(おう)てるよ。
P: 振り付け、とても気に入りました。
D: 大したもんじゃ！これまで見た中で遥かに！遥かに興味深いわい！
P: トム・ディクソン振り付けで、これら振りつけの動きを得るために
トムは伝統的な日本舞踊のパフォーマンス・セッションに参加した
そうです。その甲斐がありましたね。美しいコンビネーション・スピン。
最後の動きまで力強いです！
P: 素晴らしいl!
T: 幸先の良いデビューです！
P: これから先、もっと彼女の演技を観たい！と皆思ってるでしょう

T: シズカ・アラカワにヨシエ・オンダ。そしてただ今の演技はユキナ・
オータ!全く、日本は！
D: 演技は見事なもんで、素晴らしいエレメンツの山盛りじゃった！
彼女はエレガントなスケーターでな、滑らかな滑りが出来てジャンプ
も良いんじゃ。この目で見た通り、色んなトリプルが跳べるしのぅ。
更にクオリティも高くてアーティステックでバレエ的でな！とてつも
なく洗練してるし愛らしい！至福じゃ！
T: ユキナは去年ジュニアでは主なタイトルを全て獲りました。
サーシャ・コーエンの得点は71.12でしたが、さあ得点です。テクニ
カル・エレメンツは32.90。プログラム・コンポーネンツは31.00。
総合得点は63.90で、彼女のシニア・デビューとして素晴らしい点が
出ました。日本のユキナ・オータはサーシャ・コーエンの直ぐ後に
つけて現在第二位です。

T: One of the bright new faces on the senior circut this season,
16 y.o. Yukina Ota, from Japan. She's from Kyoto, and she won
the World junior championship to go along with the Junior World
GrandPrix Final championship last year.
P: Well there is real comfortable sophistication about her skating.
very expressive, and wonderful posture.
P: Her opening jump, this 3Ltz and 2T...she's been having a trouble
with this...

P: But not tonight! Very nice and clean, bit snap to it.
T: We're really seeing very emergence from Japanese skaters,
ladies last few years. But she's an elaboration, she's not a jumper,
not known for the jumping skills, she's more artist.
P: There's natural (?) her skating where she moves, at sixteen,
this is well done, now this 3F

P: Did you see that?
P: The speed on this flying camel, (inaudible)
D:The spiral combination, spiral sequence, watch change of edge
she creates, right there and that spiral combination, the change
of edge is very difficult, and also made very interesting.
P: And this 2A...

P: Nice height! Very neat in the air.
D: If you notice how depth delve into the first edge when way
down on her knee before she lifted it into the air.
P: She's really caused these jumps with an attack.
And this is gorgeous layback spin. Look at these beautiful arms.
P: Straight-line footwork...Very different!
D: I see that fit the music.
P: like this choreography!
D: Far more, far more interesting what we've seen!!
P: This is choreographed by Tom Dickson, and he attended
some traditonal Japanese dance performances to get some of
these moves in this program, I think it really works.
Beautiful combination spin, the final move here-very strong!
P: Beautiful!
T: Pretty good debut
P: People (?) to see a lot more of her.
T: Hey we've got Shizuka Arakawa, Yoshie Onda, and now Yukina
Ota from Japan.
D: I thinik it make so wonderful there is magnificent combination
of elements here.She's the elegant skater, she's the smooth saker
and she's the good jumper she can do those triple jumps I know it,
and she has a quality about it very artistic ballet and very smooth
and lovely and I think that make her so pleasant.
T: She won the everyting as the junior last year. Remember Sasha
Cohen's number 71.12...Here we go, technical element 32.90, 31.00
for Program Components, so 63.90 and that's great what debut for
a young Japanese skater, Yukina into the 2nd place, right behind
Sasha Cohen.
このコンビで次に訳したいのは、浅田真央選手。
彼女が世界選手権を制した時のも良いけど、スケート・アメリカの
『ノクターン』の衝撃・・・この解説を訳します。
昨日から天候不良でモデムも絶不調(5分おきにリセットしないと)。
なので、合間見て記事をアップしました。こういうときは…と溜まって
