More than 60% of the underground pedestrian passage in Yangon, Myanmar has been completed. According to the Yangon Municipal Urban Development Committee, the construction of the underground pedestrian passage Unerpass connecting the Shwedagon Pagoda and the People's Park has been completed by more than 60%. In order to allow people to avoid traffic and road hazards and travel comfortably, and to build a modern infrastructure, the underground pedestrian passage was built between Uwisara Road in Degong Township, the west gate of Shwedagon Pagoda and the People's Highway.
