Fujitsu is updating its Stylistic tablet lineup with the addition of a new model with a 10 inch display and a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processor. The Fujitsu Stylistic Q552 will replace last year’s Stylistic Q550 model, which had a slower 1.5 GHz Atom Z670 Oak Trail chip.
While the Atom N2600 processor isn’t exactly a speed demon, this chip was designed for netbooks and offers better overall performance than an Oak Trail CPU. It also features Intel GMA 3600 graphics with support for HD video playback.
The Stylistic features a 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display with a 160 with battery such as Fujitsu LifeBook N6470 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook A1110 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook A1220 Battery , Fujitsu Lifebook A3040 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B2562 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B2566 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B2569 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B6000D Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B6110 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B6110D Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B6210 Battery , Fujitsu LifeBook B6220 Battery degree viewing angle. The computer has a capacitive touchscreen, so you can use it with your fingertips, but there’s also an active digitizer and digital pen that you can use to write or draw on the screen using pressure-sensitive input. The digital pen also supports Windows 7 mouse-style actions including hovering.
The tablet is available with a 32GB or 64GB solid state disk, 2GB of RAM, 802.11n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. It has one USB 2.9 port, an HDMI connector, and an SD card slot. There’s a front-facing VGA camera and a 3MP camera with auto-focus on the back.
Fujitsu is targeting corporate customers, and the tablet includes a fingerprint sensor, SmartCard reader, and other security features.
There’s also an option for an integrated mobile broadband modem with GPS.
Fujitsu offers a 2 cell, 19Whr battery or a 4 cell 38Whr battery. The tablet measures 10.8″ x 7.6″ x 0.6″ and weighs 1.7 pounds with the smaller battery.
