`A midsummer night`s dream`のつづきです。
劇中劇は終った。
シーシアス （立ち上がって）深夜の鐘が十二時を打ち終った！
さあ、恋人たち、新床が待っている ー そろそろ妖精どもの
さまよい歩くころおい。。 このぶんでは、あすの朝、寝過ごしそうだ、
だいぶ夜ふかしをしたからな。なんともたわいのない芝居ではあったが、
遅い夜の歩みをまぎらわしてくれた。。
さあ、みんな、お開きとしよう。。
これから二十七、十四日、夜毎の宴、余興も趣向を変えて、とり行うのだ。
（シーシアスがヒポリタを導いて入る。二組の恋人たちも手をとりあって
退場。つづいて一同退去。舞台が暗くなり、暖炉の残り火だけが見える。。
「夏の夜の夢」は読んでいて、むずむずしてくる作品だ
。
三組の婚礼
、オベロンとタイタニア。。 男女の語らい。。
妖精たちの活躍。。 じつに愉しい

In nightly revels and new jollity.
