Enjoy carbs and fat without the guilt -- and still lose weight
Carb & Fat Erase is made up of two powerful and clinically tested ingredients that can help support your weight management goals. The first is Phase 2, a non-GMO, non-stimulant plant derivative made from the extract of the Northern white kidney bean. The second is patented, LipoSan Ultra brand chitosan, a dietary fiber from North Atlantic cold water shrimp shells processed in Iceland.
A double-blind placebo-controlled study demonstrated the dramatic benefits of white kidney bean extract for people who want to reduce starch absorption or lose weight. In it, starch absorption for those taking the exact same white kidney bean extract ingredient as in Carb & Fat Erase averaged 79% less than the placebo group.
Another study showed an average of 6.45 pounds of weight loss in 30 days when taking 500 mg of Phase 2 kidney bean extract before a carbohydrate-rich meal. They also lost an average of 10% body fat mass and more than 3% in waist circumference. This is the same dose found in two capsules of Carb & Fat Erase.
If you've ever heard of chitosan, you might know of its positive benefits. However, not all chitosan is created equal. Under laboratory conditions, regular chitosan products take up to two hours to fully dissolve in your stomach, making it mostly ineffective. By the time regular chitosan dissolves, most of the dietary fat will have already been processed and absorbed into the body.
Carb & Fat Erase, on the other hand, uses a patented form of chitosan (LipoSan Ultra) that has been processed to increase its solubility in stomach acid in 3-5 minutes instead of two hours as other chitosan products. With this improvement, it is able to bind almost three times as much fat as regular chitosan.
That's because the true benefit occurs in the digestive tract. When taken at mealtime, its extremely fast solubility makes it available to complex with dietary fat for almost the entire time (1.5 to 2 hours) that the ingested food is in the stomach. By the time the fat/chitosan emulsion reaches the small intestine and begins to gel, patented chitosan has had the opportunity to complex far more fat -- up to 3 times more -- than regular chitosan, which still may not be fully dissolved.
The complexed fat is bound in the gel and protected from enzymatic (lipase) breakdown into absorbable free fatty acids. This bound fat is now less available for absorption helping to neutralize fat's calories. An 8-week, double blind, placebo-controlled study involving 59 overweight women showed a significant weight loss differential of 5 pounds over an 8-week period between those taking LipoSan Ultra Chitosan compared to a placebo.
