Last time we talked about pizza, so let's keep on diving into this topic !!
Today I want to talk about the many types of pizza you can find in Italy!
Depending on which part of Italy you are going to visit, you can eat different kind of pizza. Did you know it ??
Today I give you a general introdution and we will talk in specific during the next articles !
So, let's get started!!
1- Pizza Napoletana (Napolitan Pizza)
Probabily the most popular between all the pizza types. Typically made in Capania Region, the Pizza Napoletana flavor is just tomatoes and mozzarella!!
2- Pizza Romana (Roman Pizza)
It is tipically made in Lazio Region, it is practically the opposite to Neapolitan pizza: it is crispy.
3- Pizza Bianca (Sauce-less Pizza)
Litterally "The White Pizza", it's a Pizza without any sauce !! There are many types of it, but all Italians agree that "White Pizza"with Mortadella is the best deal !!
4- Pizza Siciliana
Sicily typical pizza, it's also called as "The Spongy Pizza". The ingredients are really simple (just tomatoes sause, oil and oregano), but the particual aspect is in the making process !! In fact it takes more than 72h to be ready !!
