Today's topic is about a recent fact that shocked the entire world.
On 15 April 2019, shortly before 18:50, a massive blaze 火災で devastated a large parts of the 850 year old and World Heritage 世界遺産 Notre-Dame the Paris cathedral ノートルダム大聖堂.
The fire spread rapidly and took over large parts of the cathedral, causing the Gothic spire collapsed as disbelieving onlookers scrambled to get a view of the unfolding disaster.
The fire is now out and luckily all the most precious artwork being stored inside the cathedral has been saved.
The president Emmanuel Macron vowed to begin an international funding effort on Tuesday, telling reporters outside the cathedral would be rebuild.
Notre Dame has more than a religiuous meanning to us, it's the symbol of Paris, of peace, togetherness,it has a huge artistic value and heart of the city.
We hope to see Notre Dam back to its gothic beauty soon, and that something like that never happen again.
