みなさん、おはようございます！
今日はボキャブラリーの増やし方について。
TOEICに限らず、
英語は同じ単語を繰り返し使う事を嫌います。
なので、同じ意味の言葉を、
違う単語で言い換えた表現をよく使います。
それを
paraphrase
パラフレーズ
と言います。
例えば、
本文内で大きく赤い文字で
conference
と書きましたが、
これのパラフレーズは何でしょう？
YES!
meeting
です。
どちらも「会議」ですね。
このようなパラフレーズを使って
ボキャブラリーを増やすことが
TOEIC学習ではとても有効です
