I have not updated for a long time because of no comments about Reds! My feeling would be: not angry but no passion because of weak on Reds, hahaha

Instead of Reds, sorry, but please let me step a side and talk about Japan, I mean of course, the Women'sSoccer team!

I believe even Japanese, many would never ever expected that they got the World Cup. I believe that it would the the first title among the Asian history not only Japan for the world soccer title.

They won against Germany, previous titled country, Sweden, and the United States, FIFA ranking No. 1.
Some might think that U.S. would not be popular and a kind of weak for soccer. You might be right, but women soccer would completely be different world. As FIFA showed that they ranked U.S. as the first ranked,
their women soccer is pretty strong:

As you might know U.S. is one of the most active countries on sports as you see their baseball, basketball, American football. But, I believe their playing population would be superior men than women. So, what kinds of sports do women play? When they go to the junior high schools, what do they do? Answer should be: soccer. Most of girls would have an experience for them to play soccer in their regular classes in school otherwise, they would join some club teams.

Contrasted Japan, many of girls should never have experiences for playing soccer. Moreover, their physical performance, speed, and power, every elements for important points playing soccer would be superior U.S. to Japan.

But, the fact is Japan won. That is one of the miracle things in the soccor history. They would not feel the big expectation from Japan as pressure, but, they enjoy and change this to their power for the winning. I am sure that they gave a big power that "we can," which is really needed under current all Japanese to overcome the difficulty from the disaster.

Finally, they showed for not only Japanese, but also all over the world that the game is not decided by what we have. So, in any situations, even if you got suffers, never giving up, keep going on for what you believe. God may be smiling on you.

From my home, Cincinnati, Ohio would be aroud 4 hour driving to North.
I know this is not so close, and currently, gas price is not cheap I know.
But, this might be a very good deal to go.

Let me go back in my experience. When I was a high school student, whicih is a littl bit back from now, haha, I played baseball as a second baseball player. I also played in college even just for a fun.
Once I became a public high school teacher, I used to take in chage of beseball team as a assistant coach. So, almost all in my life, I would involve beseball.

Through my experience, I have been inspired the Cincinnati baseball. Even a game yesterday, I found 3 incredible sceanes except Brandon's walking off home run.

1, In the first inning, Chris got catching a homerun ball from Albert. It was supposed to be a home run ball over left field fence under yellow line. I watch this play and he got a ball with double handed catch, you know. MLB players may be able to catch home run ball, but I have never seen with double handed catch. It means that for Chris, he was good enough to do that.

2, Votto ran from the first base to the second base with touch up play with a flybal aroud home base caughby a catcher. It was a plaly that Albert, the first base and the catcher would be looked a little coufused whocought the foul ball aroud home plate area. Finally, the catcher caught the ball, and then, suddenly, Votto started to the second base.

3, It was a big fly ball to fight field caught a ball by the player with nice cathing, but his play looked a difficult catch because of a big fly ball. Suddenly, Stubbs ran heading for the second base with a touch up play.

Those three plays had not seen in my baseball experiences until I encounter the Cincinnati. There might be such a playing in the Yanks or Mets even Atlanta. But, I have never seen except the Reds.

If you see such wonderful moments, you would think that 4 hour driving would be closer than actual you drive.
After All Star game, the second half has just started today. Our Reds is among teams in the National League Central, which is the most exciting places: Cardinals, Pirates, Brewers, and our Reds, four teams are under 4 games difference. And then, our Reds has started off with our forever rival, Cards.

Good news is that we will have been playing against Cards, Giants, Mets, Braves in the "home, our Great American Park in Cincinnati"!, so July would have a big chance to reach a top in the Central.

Today, we started with Johny Queto, who is the Ace in Reds. His pitching was excellent today, and top batter, Chris got a starting off homer and another homer. Reds had a good deal by the middle of the game; however, as the same as always, after Queto, following pitching guys were "booooooooooo"!!! Cuba Misile, had never got even strikes, and then tried to get a strive and Albert got a big home run. I can not see those scenes anymore, you know? Albert is one of the best batters in MLB, who got MVP receiver in 2008 & 2009. I though we would lose this important game with 99%; but, it looks miracle; the man of the men is Brandon Phillips. He finished up this game with walk off home run at the bottom of 9 inning. I have never seen that Gold Glove receiver, Brandon made a error, but he did today, so, he would really get this game in his mind, I understand.

I am still have very curious about Reds Pitching, and even I feel very sorry for Reds field players because their play has been more than excellent. Anyway, we have to win with current pitching staff. I know it would be very difficult, but hopfully, they would stand up and go for October.

National League Central would be very hot and fun to watch. Let's go Reds against our rival, Cards!
