Best ERA, Cueto

Today, 7/31, Reds won against World Champion Ginats with 9-0 with shoutted down by Johnny Cueto by 9inning. For this 3 games from Friday against Giants, we got a 3 continuously winning!!

This is very big impact to Reds for the rest of games in this season. In this 3 game serires, Cincinnati got totally for 20 scores: 4, 7, and then 9 against the best pitchers among all MLB teams. I mean their ERA would be below 3.00. This means that they would usally allow for only 1 or 2 scores per a game; however, Reds got scores aroud 7 scores per a game with avarage in this seriese. It should be called "Big Red Machine."

Moreover, this is we are waiting for a long time: Johnny Cueto has just been showing up as the best ERA pitcher in the MLB under both Natiolan & American Leagues. I believe that he would give inspiring for all Reds pitching staff, so they should be changed by Cueto, and they, all should have now confident for they can do it!

I know the road to the chanpion is still very difficult way; but it still have big possibilty for us to be the World Champion in 2011!

Play Hard as Professional!

Yesterday, Reds won against Giants, World Champion in the last year, with walking off hit by Rentaria. It was a really great game. As we go back to see on last Sunday, we also won against Atlanta with walking offwith Stubb's walking off home run.

What is the same characteristic between opposed teams both Atlanta and Ginats?

The answer is that both are very strong teams. Currently, Giants is the top team in the West division, and all know their pitching staff should be the best all current MLB teams: Average ERA would be around 2.50 or might be even below that. Atlanta is the second team following Philies in Eest division. But, their pitching staff would also be one of the best ones following Giants, Philies, and Red Sox.

My point is very simple. I do not think that Reds is playing hard when they play against not strong teams. When they play Yanks, Giants, Philies, Braves and Cards, which is some top teams, Reds' performance would be excellent. Even Reds win many times against them. however, it is easy to see when Reds play against not strong guys, many errors, mistakens, hitted easily. I do not think they play with their best, you know. That is the reason that I can still not give up them even they have currently 6 games behind to the top.

Why are stringers strong? Because they are always playing hard, so if they have a game, which they need to win, they win. Very simple, right? How about Reds? Not. Sometimes, they do very well, and sometimes not. That is the reason that they are still below 500.

They are strong, but they do not play hard in all games, and MLB is not such a place that such a team can win because they are all professional teams. I hope they will play hard in the rest of all games as professional so that miracle might be happened.

Dear Owner and Busty Baker,

I can still not believe why our Reds would be a team just around 500, which winning and losing would be 50/50. Today, we won against Atlanta scored 10 to 2. I know that in this season, we also won Yanks or Cards over 5 scored difference. Please note that in the last season, we were the most earned scores & least errors team, and finally, we got the division champion, so we can make it, you know?

I am sure that in this season, as of now, we are behind, but just 5 games different to the top. This is not easy, but possible to reach the top from now. But, we have one condition: Pitching staff.
As you know that we still have one more week for the closing of trade, so we have to have main pitchers. I mean we have to have both, but I know it should be difficutlt, so at least we need one of them: Hiroki Kuroda, Dodgers and Jamas Shields, Rays.

I still believe that it should not be too late for us to make the point as far as we can acquire each of them. Pleas think about it for 2011!!
