The morning after the Windows 8’s final version was published, microsoft office has begun getting off using the Metro marking when describing the level. It is obvious that office 2010 Product Key is very popular.

Microsoft announced that developers should keep themselves from using the word “Metro” via their app should they refer to the Microsoft windows Phone or Windows 8 program. Instead, Microsoft is advising developers to make use of “New User Interface” to describe Microsoft’s unified design.

The Metro-style interface, first seen on Windows Phone 7 and soon being seen on Windows 8, refers to the tile-based, flatter and more modern program which uses live tiles as the user interface.

Initial reports claimed how the decision to drop the particular naming convention was relevant to copyright issues. An anonymous source talking with Tom Warren at This Verge said the change “could be in connection with a dispute between cheap office 2010 along with a German company over the application of the Metro naming. ”

Long-time Microsoft-watcher Mary Jo Foley in ZDNet reported hearing similar rumours from her sources in the software giant. “Microsoft is stepping away from “Metro” because of a possible copyright dispute with other sorts of entity. ”

Microsoft however, said the reason with the change was not as a result of litigation, saying: “We have used Metro style to be a code name during the product development cycle across many of our product lines. As we get closer to launch and transition from industry dialog to some broad consumer dialog we use our commercial names. ”

Subsequently, The Verge got hold of an internal memo via Microsoft Publisher 2010 which reveals that “discussions having an important European partner” generated the decision to “discontinue the use” in the Metro branding for Windows 8 and other Windows products.

German company Metro AG, which is a wholesale/cash and carry group located in Dusseldorf, declined to comment on a set up reason Microsoft was getting rid of the Metro branding was due to copyright it holds in Germany.

Microsoft is expected to announce a replacement term very soon, possibly as soon since this weekend.
