This August, I have to have my car inspected.

Because my car has already run over 2,600,000 kilometers, I always try to have it maintenanced.

When the inspection is around the corner, I have an apprehension.

My car's instrument panel sometimes goes out of order.

If it occurs during the inspection, my car can't pass the test.

Actually, it occurs especially in winter when it is cold, and now, it is in good condition.

However, I think, if...

The other day, I dropped by the gas station where I always have my car serviced and told my troubles.

The automobil mechanic, he has taken care of my car nearly for a decade.

And he has been trying to find a new instrument panel for my car since the last car inspention for two years.

But we couln't find a new one.

We decided to try to buy a secondhand goods in an internet auction.

He searched and then, he found it in Yahoo! auctions".

I placed a bid on it!

It took 20000 yen!

I should wait about for two hours until the auction was over.

I was very excited.

About 15 minutes later after I left the gas station, I got a call from him.

He was really in a harry.

He told me to cancel that bid because two instrument panels have a different specifications.

The secondhand goods seems to be incongruous with my car.

I canceled that bid in hastle.

Everything was new to me.

I could cancel the bid in time, however, my apprehension isn't over.

Summer has come!

Because I put on yukata every day and every night in summer, I have to wash them every day.

It is easy to wash two yukatas but it is hard to iron two clothes every day because it is so hot and humid that I get drenced in sweat.

During ironing, I sweat a lot and I have to change my clothes. It never ends.

So, I made up my mind not to iron my clothes during summer.

Originally, in Japan, people have put on kimono since they have ironed their clothes, I think.

In other words, I've misunderstood that I had to iron all of my Japanese style clothes.

Because kimono doesn't have a round shape, I can stretch the wrinkle on them when I hang out them.

And furthermore, I forgot a Japanese laundry drying pole "物干し竿" because I usually hang out the laundry to dry inside not outside.

It makes sense.

The laundry drying pole is very suitable to hang out flat clothes like yukata.

And then the image rang the bell in me.

I haven't seen the image overseas!

I wanted to know whether the laundry drying pole has been used overseas or not.

I googled and found not.

Although the laundry drying pole is used overseas, too, it used inside most of the time.

And people living overseas tend to use some thin ropes instead of poles.

It is very surprising me!

And it is very interesting to know something unique to Japan.

I'll say good-bye to the iron and say "hello, the laundry drying pole!".

Summer has come!

During this rainy season, the temperature has been lower than usual.

I've been afraid of a heavy rain about for two weeks, on the other hand, I've been comfortable.

Although rainy season hasn't been declared over yet, it was very hot and humid yesterday.

Especially at night.

The last night was terrible.

A short while after I fell asleep, an unpleasant sound woke me up.

It was a mosquito.

I pulled up my blanket to cover myself more to avoid being bitten by that mosquito.

To stay in the blanket was so hot that I was drenched in sweat.

I was so unbearable and restless that I rolled over in the blanlket again and again.

I remenbered that summer in Japan is more uncomfotable than the rainy season because we have to fight not only the humidity but also the mosquito.
