今月のテーマは「イースター」
This month's theme at our school is Easter.
イースター自体は2週間ほど前に終わってしまいましたが、今週はプリスクールやアフタースクールで イースターにちなみ、卵を使ったCookingということでカップケーキを作りました。
Easter itself has already gone past a few weeks ago, but still we made cup cakes in the class this week as eggs are related Easter.
小麦粉やバター、卵、砂糖にバニラエッセンスのとてもシンプルなレシピです。
Very simple recipe; flour, butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.
まずは、材料や用具を英語で確認します。
We learnt the ingredients and the kitchenware in English, first.
それから、材料を測ったり、ボールの中身を混ぜたり・・・ 一番盛り上がるのは、やっぱり卵を割るところです
Then we measured the ingredients, mixed them and so on... The most fun moment was when the children cracked the eggs!!
初めて卵を割る子もいたり、お家でできたことがあるのにレッスンではできなかったり、逆にお家でできなかったのに教室ではうまく割れたりと一喜一憂の時間でした
Some kids cracked the eggs for the first time, others had done it before at home but couldn't do well at school or vice versa, they had their own special moment there
そして、生地を型に流し込み、英語のレッスンを受けながら待つこと約30分、とても良い香りとともにできあがりました！！できたてカップケーキをお家に持って帰ってもらいました。
After the mix has been made, they poured it into the cups with a spoon and put them in the oven. Kids waited patiently for about 30 minutes studying English, mmmmmmmm yummy smell !!!!! They were very happy to take the cakes home with a big smile!!
普段あまりクッキングできる機会がないからでしょうか。クッキングのレッスン中に見せてくれる子供たちの興味津々でキラキラした顔は、私たちも元気をもらいます
とても楽しい授業でした。
Children really enjoy cooking lessons. Their excitement and enthusiasm towards cooking make us staff boost our energy
