訳：顧客満足を確保するために、顧客からの問い合わせには適切なタイミングで対応してください。
まず次の三つのパターンを覚えましょう、
in a 形容詞 + manner
in a 形容詞 + fashion
on a 形容詞 + basis
三つとも同じ『～の方法で』という意味です。この 『前置詞＋形容詞＋名詞の manner、fashion、basis 』 のパターンは意味的に副詞の役割をします。例えば、
in an efficient manner = efficiently
in a polite fashion = politely
on a regular basis = regularly
Employees are expected to complete their tasks in an efficient manner to improve productivity.
従業員は生産性を向上させるために、業務を効率的に遂行することが求められます。
Customer service representatives should always respond to complaints in a polite fashion.
カスタマーサービス担当者は、苦情に対して常に礼儀正しく対応すべきです。
The company conducts training sessions on a regular basis to improve employee skills.
会社は従業員のスキル向上のために、定期的に研修を実施しています。
注目ポイント１．前置詞に気を付けましょう。manner と fashion は同じ in を取って、basis は on を取ります。例えば、

これは basis なので C. の on が正解です。
注目ポイント２．ly で終わる形容詞もあります。よくTOEICテスト出てくるのは、
in a timely manner
in a orderly fashion
on a daily basis
～ly で終わる言葉には副詞が多いですが少しだけの例外があります。例えば、時間を表す『daily, weekly, monthly, yearly』 はこのまま形容詞にも副詞にもなります。
あと、よくテストに出てくる形容詞は 『costly, orderly, timely, friendly,unlikely, likely, lovely』 です。これらは全部、形容詞のみです。
例3．
All reports must be submitted in a ____ manner.
A. quickly
B. suddenly
C. timely
D. regularly
全部同じ副詞に見ますのでここで意味を考えてしまう人が多いですが、この選択肢の中で形容詞になるのは C. の timely だけです。文法的に C. しかありえません。

A. orderly
B. hurriedly
C. easily
D. hastily
この選択肢の中で形容詞になるのは A. の orderly だけです。文法的に A. しかありえません。
