みんな元気ー？！

みなさぁ～～～ん! げんき？？？げんき？？！？！？！？！
げんきだよ！

みんなどうしてる？
最近新学期が始まったんだよね？
アメリカは6月が年度末で8月末か9月初めが新学期だから、
私にとっては今でも秋の方が新学期が始まるっていう感じがするんだよね。

今年はあっという間に時が過ぎてるような気がしない？
このブログを書いているのは4月28日だけど、
更新される頃は多分五月になってるんだろうね。

今、私の家のコーヒーテーブルには、カワイイ花が飾ってあるよ。
でも、薔薇ってすぐ枯れちゃうね。。。
昔、まだアメリカにいた時、毎朝学校に行く途中に
濃いピンク色の薔薇がたくさん咲いてる家があったんだ。
私のお母さんも庭に花を植えてたけど、全然上手く育たなかったなあ。。。
一生懸命頑張って育ててたんだけどね。
今思うと、なんか悲しいよね。お母さんは素敵な庭が欲しかったの。

そういえば数週間前に田舎に行ったよ。
久しぶりだった。すごくよかったよ。
東京に来る前は、少しの間田舎に住んでたこともあったから、
気分がリフレッシュできたよ。
正直言うと、ほんとはそのままそこにいたかったんだけど、
でも、きっとすぐに東京が恋しくなってたよ。
仕事とか、その他のこと全部。

ゲームセンター、プリクラ、クレープ、映画館、ショッピング、
ゲームセンター、ゲームセンター、ゲームセンター・・・

ファイティングゲームで敵を倒したりとか。。。

貴重な思い出は、今となっては宝物だよ。
日本に来たばかりの頃は、自由にゲームセンターに遊びに行ってたりしていたけど、

もうその頃には戻れないな。でも、それはそれでいいかな。

がんばろう！！！！！おう！おう！おーーーう！！

How have you all been?
The new school year started recently, didnt it?
Where I grew up the school year ends around June and begins
at the end of August or beginning of September.
Even now the beginning of fall,
rather than January, seems like the start of a new year to me.

This year is going by fast, ne?
By the time this is posted it will already be the beginning of May.
As Im writing this its the 28th of April,
for those of you wondering.

I have a pretty flower arrangement on my coffee table.
Roses die so quickly.
There was a house with these really beautiful deep pink rose
bushes that I used to walk by every morning on the way to school.
My mother always tried to plant flowers and plants in our yard
but they would never grow.
She worked so hard. Now that I think about it,
its sad isnt it? She really wanted a garden.

I　went to the country a couple of weeks ago.
Hisashiburi datta. It was so nice.
Before I moved to Tokyo I lived in the country for a little while.
It was refreshing to go back.
Actually, I didnt want to leave,
but before long Ill start to miss Tokyo,
work and all of those things.

Game center, purikuraa, crepe, eigakan, shopping, game center,
game center, game center...
challenging complete strangers to fighting games...
precious memories I treasure now.
I cant go back there anymore, but I like that.
