The fans’ cheers gave the team a boost.

今回The cheers of fun give the team a boost.
N: The cheers of fans gave the team a boost.
◇Well, you used “gave the team a boost” perfectly. Great job. The only little thing that I 👂👌would change, I would probably say the fans’ cheers gave the team a boost. One more time, the fans’ cheers gave the team a boost. But great job.

N: Do you think children’s use of social media should be restricted? In Japan, there is currently no legal age limit, 👂👌although most platforms prohibit use by those under 13.
T: I have a 12-year-old at home, and he’s on his phone sending messages all the time. But I don’t see the point of governments✏️ trying to restrict access. Supervision at home is the best way to go.
N: But parents and guardians can’t completely protect their kids from increasingly dangerous risks. Social media has played a big role in a 👂😢lot of the illegal jobs and sexual crimes in the news these days.
T: So, listeners, do you think limiting children’s social media use is a good idea?
N: Honestly, I’m not sure. The problem of social media I want to point out is that it’s really difficult for parents to monitor their kids. I believe social media has both good and bad influence like, uh, for good, making community outside the school, or for the bad endlessly scrolling short clips. But I guess it’s not easy to check what the kids are doing or watching every single time. And that’s the main risk, I think.
Oh, I agree with you a lot, actually. Uh, when you talked about endless scrolling short videos, you must know my son because he does that a lot. Um, So, one thing that I really liked about your answer was that you ✏️separated the information very clearly. You talked about good and bad influence. Then you said for the good A, right? and then for the bad B, right? You made it very clear 👂👌in separate sentences. Uh, and that’s very helpful for listeners, uh, trying to understand what you’re saying. And I think our listeners to this program, uh, can really benefit from trying that type of, you know, dividing information clearly into two sentences. That’s a good, good style. Yup.

We didn’t used to have mobiles. My son watches short videos all the time, even while eating. ❌❌(fucking) noisy! Please prohibit!

“Back in the day, we didn’t even have cell phones. My kid’s always watching short videos, even while eating. It’s so damn 【annoying】 — they should ban that stuff!”
改善点
• “We didn’t used to have” → We didn’t even have(文法修正 + 自然な表現)
• “My son watches” → My kid’s always watching(現在進行形で「ずっと」のニュアンスを強く)
• “❌❌(fucking) noisy! Please prohibit!” → It’s so damn annoying — they should ban that stuff!(強い苛立ちを自然に表現。“prohibit” は硬すぎるので “ban that stuff” が口語的)
もっと強いバージョン
“Back in my day we didn’t have cell phones at all. My kid just watches short videos nonstop, even during meals. It’s fucking annoying! They need to ban this shit.”
“Things were different when I was young — we didn’t have mobile phones. These days my son is constantly watching short videos, even at mealtimes. It’s really irritating. I wish they’d restrict.”
