Tea Master 茶人
I love Tea. My dream is to become a Tea Master. I am convinced that Tea is the most powerful tool for mastering life. Tea is an art. It has enormous energy that moves us beyond time. This may be because the foundations of The Art of Tea that continue today were established during the Sengoku period, an era of swirling energy.
The reason we are attracted to Tea is because it resonates with the power hidden within us.
It whispers in the Silence.
Be Fearless.
We all have busy lives. One of the reasons I want to share Tea is because it is the quickest way to connect with the Silence in your busy days. The character ”busy” is written as ”to lose one's heart” in Japan.
It's more important to calm your mind when you are busy. If you are a massively busy person, your work and daily life must be falling apart. Losing your calm can be fatal and you know the consequences.
Why were the elites of the Sengoku period so enthusiastic about Tea? There may be political reasons behind it, but rather I think it was simply because they knew it was the most powerful tool for sharpening the mind.
Tea has a deep relationship with Zen. Although we do not do rigorous training like Zen, daily practice shapes a beautiful form and creates value. The main difference from zazen or meditation is that Tea uses the body. We train our concentration for each movement, such as making smooth movements, handling tools with fingerprints, to name just a few. Having this mindset and behavior will enhance our dignity.
I am here to share with you The Art of Tea, the wisdom, the philosophy, the sophistication, and its energy across borders. This is the best challenge of my life.
Having Tea as a part of your life will also enrich your soul and body. Tea is a world where nature and human wisdom are in harmony, where beauty is meticulously calculated. One of the great things is we become more aware of small things in everyday life. Moreover, you will realize the importance of regulating your mind and breathing.
Tea is packed with wisdom and manners that are useful in our society and our daily life, such as positioning, how to interact with others, and so on. My mission is to show you how fun and wonderful Tea can be.
Here is one more thing that only I can offer.
I mentioned that Tea is the portal to your truth. So what is your truth? Isn't that the answer you really want? In fact, the Silence holds the key to your answer. Because the Silence is the portal to Your Truth. Tea is the most powerful tool to sharpen your senses, and it is full of training. Tea teaches us the meaning of the Silence.
Let me give you an example of the Silence. Chatting is prohibited. We focus exclusively on listening. The sound of hot water gushing. The sound of chopsticks being placed on a tray. Each small sound has a meaning and serves as a signal for the next action.
I want you to feel that your world expands when you listen carefully. A world unplugged from the Matrix. A world of your own, where no one will disturb you. So you will finally be able to listen to your inner voice.
Your Truth.
Unfortunately, you don't know it. Because all you know is what you are aware of right now. The reason most of us end our lives without knowing the truth is because the truth is in the darkness, and we are afraid of it.
What can you find in the Silence? I want you to find the truth because your true power is hidden there. Because the only thing that can make you truly happy is Your Truth, and it wants you to find it. I guide you beyond the Silence through Tea. Because I believe that Tea can guide you to that depth. Because I want you to live a life without regrets.
